                                                         UCSF STAFF PLACEMENT GOALS
                                                             BY JOB GROUP

The Federal affirmative action regulations require each campus to produce annual statistical reports comparing the percentage of women and minority employees in each staff job group with the availability percentage. When the percentage of women or minorities in a particular staff job group is less than would reasonably be expected, given their availability, the campus must establish annual goals equal to availability figures derived for women and minorities, as appropriate for each job group.

The attached charts show the numerical goals by staff job group campus-wide and by major organizational unit (Vice Chancellor, Schools, Medical Center). The numbers shown in the boxes indicate the number of persons needed to be placed (through hire or promotion) in order to eliminate the goal.
